Lily & Nelson had their ceremony at the St John The Baptist Church at Tamborine Mountain with Father Kevin officiating their marriage.
As we drove up the mountain in the kombi it started to rain so it was a quick exit into the church. Thankfully by the time the service finished, the rain had stopped and cleared up and the sun was shining for the couple’s outdoor garden tea ceremony and reception.
After the ceremony, the wedding moved to Riverwood Estate, a secluded private property in the Gold Coast Hinterland at the foothills of Tamborine Mountain. A picturesque setting for the couple’s tea ceremony. But first a few photos with the bridal party and kombi!
The site for the tea ceremony overlooks the Coomera River and creates the perfect backdrop to celebrate with family and friends.
Following the tea ceremony, while guests mingled and played giant Jenga with a selection of yummy canapes and beverages on the lawn, we made use of the beautiful gardens for the family photos.
Down by the Coomera River is a pretty riverside setting for photos, along with a few fun, romantic photos on the swing. Before heading up to the paddock to feed the cows on sunset.
Riverwood Weddings offers a unique reception experience. Lily & Nelson chose the single tipi for their intimate celebration, but other options are available. Inside the tipi was beautifully styled with farmhouse style tables and wooden chairs, and colourful flowers.
