Sandra & Dave
A Love Story
Sunshine Coast engagement photography
Engagement sessions are one of my favourite things to photograph. Photographing couples at that stage of their relationship when they are so in love, is just the best thing ever as a wedding photographer. And none of the pressures or time constraints of the wedding day.
Sandra & Dave contacted me after being aware of my work as I had photographed their friend’s, Jess & Luke, New Farm wedding a few years earlier. They told me they are planning their dream destination wedding in one of their favourite holiday locations, Phuket Thailand, and asked would I photograph their Thailand wedding. After saying Yes, we planned to get together for their engagement shoot.
Dave was keen to have photos by the water and had seen the Mooloolaba boatsheds. Whereas Sandra liked the countryside. I planned an ambitious engagement session covering Mooloolaba to Somerset Dam.
However on the day of the engagement shoot we didn’t quite make it to Somerset Dam, but I believe things happen for a reason and we stumbled upon this beautiful paddock with wild long grass just as the sun was setting in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. It couldn’t have been a more perfect location for this super cute couple’s engagement photos.
Sandra & Dave made my job easy. Their love for each other shows just how comfortable they are with each other, and exploded on camera to show their beautiful connection.
It was such a pleasure spending the afternoon with Sandra & Dave as we will be spending some time together in Thailand next year for their wedding.
Thanks to Terri for tagging along and taking some pictures too.
