Centrally located and close to Portside Wharf, Eat Street Markets, Brisbane Airport and the couple’s wedding venue the Brisbane Racecourse.

BRIDE PREPARATION FOR THE BRISBANE RACING CLUB WEDDING
Kim, the bridesmaids and family got ready for the wedding at the Domain Serviced Apartments at the northern end of Racecourse Road in Ascot. Conveniently located walking distance to the racecourse, however, Kim chose to Uber her way to the wedding.
Kim is wearing a Rosamund gown from Martina Liana, veil from Brides Desire at West End and shoes from Wittner.
The florals for Kim & Lee’s wedding are stunning. From the bouquets to the buttonholes and the ceremony location floral arrangements. We can thank Erin Perry Creations for her amazing work putting together this gorgeous mix of red and burgundy flowers.
Kim’s wedding planning had her looking at Martha Stewart Weddings for inspiration.
Makeup by Karen & hair by Jade – both pictured below. Good to see they know how to have some laughs as they work.
Kim’s sister/bridesmaid is wearing a beautiful dress from Principessa in Fortitude Valley.

A CEREMONY AT THE BRISBANE RACING CLUB
The Brisbane Racing Club offers the perfect outdoor ceremony location. Right next to the Tote Room under the fig tree. Surrounded by the heritage buildings to add a sense of vintage charm.
The anticipated wait for the bride to arrive. Kim was getting ready walking distance away, however, being the modern bride Kim arrived in an Uber.
As Boom Clap by Lennon & Maisy played, Kim walked down the aisle on her father’s arm to join Lee under the beautifully decorated arbor.
When asking Kim what was her favourite memory from her wedding day, she answered …
“Walking down the aisle and seeing Lee very teary.“
Standing under an arbour of beautiful florals with long time family Pastor Maurie Fielke, it was the perfect romantic setting for Kim & Lee to say their I-do’s.
I always love photographing the congratulations photos following the ceremony. Coming out of this quiet, formal gathering into guests bursting with congratulations and big heartfelt hugs. It’s like an unspoken sign of ‘let’s get this party started’.
Family photos are important so there is always time allowed in the wedding day schedule for a group photo and the family photos following the ceremony. While I rarely share the family photos on the blog, in my attempts to keep the blogs shorter for faster loading and a more speedy viewing experience, the couple certainly receive family photos as part of their collection. Prior to the wedding day, I obtain a list from the couple of the family groups they want photos off, to ensure we don’t miss any of the important family photos required. If you wish to see the family photos, contact the couple for the link and password to their private gallery with the full wedding photo collection.
WEDDING PHOTOS AROUND EAGLE FARM RACECOURSE
Kim grew up on property and had a horse so Eagle Farm Racecourse was the perfect setting for their wedding. And only natural that Kim organise to have one of the horses for the photoshoot.
We aimed to use as many different locations around the racecourse for a variety of backdrops for the wedding photos.
WEDDING RECEPTION AT THE TOTE ROOM – EAGLE FARM RACECOURSE, BRISBANE
