INTERCONTINENTAL SANCTUARY COVE &
ECOSTUDIO FELLINI WEDDING
Sarah + Matt
Sarah & Matt had planned a country wedding at Ecostudio Fellini at Mudgeeraba in the Gold Coast hinterland. But Sarah had always dreamed of having a church wedding. A couple of months before the wedding, after visiting a Gold Coast bridal fair searching for musicians, Sarah & Matt were announced as the winners of a prize to have their ceremony at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove chapel. Sarah’s dreams came true, well close enough to her dream church wedding. The Sanctuary Cove chapel has the architectural qualities of a church with the big cathedral like window overlooking the lake.

GETTING READY FOR THE WEDDING DAY
I met up with the groom and the groomsmen at Culture Kings Gold Coast Barber in Pacific Fair so they could have a hair and beard trim. With an in-house DJ on the decks pumping out tunes and the mind-blowing futuristic aesthetics of the streetwear retail shop, Culture Kings offers an entirely new experience for grooms to treat themselves leading up to their wedding.
Matt, the groom, couldn’t resist a chance to score a pair of sneakers out of the Holy Grail machine. As the name suggests, the machine is the holy grail of sneakers. Inside you will find the rarest of shoes ever released including Yeezys to Supreme Jordans.
It was time to head over to the bride’s house where the bridesmaids were getting ready for the big day ahead.
While I was with the girls, my second photographer Emma was with Matt & the boys while they were getting ready to head to the chapel.
It was time to pop another bottle of champagne, and for the bride to get in her gown and even do a few portraits.

WEDDING PARTY & BRIDAL PORTRAITS AT INTERCONTINENTAL RESORT HOPE ISLAND
Due to the change of ceremony venue and a limited late time slot at the chapel, we only had 20 minutes for the wedding party and bridal portraits. We also had to share the time with videographers, so we had to power through the photos before sunset.
RECEPTION AT ECOSTUDIO FELLINI AT MUDGEERABA IN THE GOLD COAST HINTERLAND
While I was with the wedding party, my second photograher headed to Ecostudio Fellini to photograph the reception room details as well as candids of the guests.
