THE GARDENS CLUB BRISBANE WEDDING
Beth + Nate
In the weeks leading up to Beth & Nate’s wedding, the days were filled with sunshine and blue skies. But this one day in amongst all those many weeks of sunshine and blue skies, this one day the clouds decided to open up and rain. And not just rain, but the kind of heavy rain that is non-stop.
Beth & Nate started the day with a first look session in the park across from their hotel, the Oaks Casino Towers where they prepared for their special day with their families. As we walked George Street to the Botanical Gardens, there was no where we could escape the rain, except for umbrellas.
Beth & Nate had planned an indoor ceremony ( thankfully ) at The Gardens Club in the Brisbane City Botanical Gardens. It was a morning ceremony, followed by a lunchtime cocktail party in the cottage. It wasn’t until late in the afternoon, well into the reception before the rain let up and we could get outside for a big group photo.
When the rain did finally have a break, their wasn’t much light left in the sky even though it was still late afternoon around sunset, we did manage a few more photos around the gardens.

Nate got ready at the Oaks Casino Towers with his family and best man who had flown in all the way from America for the occasion.
BRIDE PREPARATION PHOTOS
Beth also got ready at the Oaks Casino Towers. The bride wore a beautiful 3/4 length gown with red shoes. Complimented by a red & white flower crown and unstructured bouquet. Hair & Makeup by the girls at Blush & Bangs.
A FIRST LOOK SESSION IN THE RAIN OUTSIDE THE TREASURY CASINO
We then continued to walk along George Street towards the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens.
AN INDOOR CEREMONY AT THE GARDENS CLUB COTTAGE
The Gardens Club is a quaint heritage-listed cottage in the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. The restored cottage has been converted into a unique wedding venue. Nestled in the lush gardens, The Gardens Club is a hidden treasure and provides an intimate setting for an unforgettable special day. Celebrant Belinda Booth of Beloved Ceremonies.

BRISBANE’S GARDENS CLUB WEDDING RECEPTION
Finally the rain had stopped, so I took advantage and headed out into the gardens with the bride and groom for some more photos.
