Kalinya Gardens at Bargo in the Macarthur region of NSW is a luxury heritage listed property set on over 5 acres of picturesque gardens. The perfect setting for Apoorva & Ismael’s combined engagement party and family reunion with friends and family there to celebrate this wonderful event.

Kalinya Gardens has two houses on the property available as accommodation. The Lodge was built in the 1850’s and has been lovingly restored and renovated retaining it’s beautiful historic features while adding modern functionality and style for up to 8 guests to enjoy. The Homestead is an Australian Colonial style home with wrap around verandahs, grand high ceilings and vintage accents that can sleep up to 16 guests.

Prior to the garden party getting underway, I did a little engagement photoshoot with Apoorva & Ismael. Making use of the gardens and The Lodge for some indoor photos featuring the floor to ceiling library and punches of colour with the red from the cool kitchen lights.

With the outdoor party set amongst the rose gardens and duck pond, a variety of seating options for guests to relax and enjoy a spread of yummy nibbles and drinks from the feasting table prepared by the family, before it was time for Pizza! Thank you to The Pizza Boys for some good pizza.

With some family traveling from overseas, it was an opportunity to update the family photos too. My approach to the day was to capture a mix of portraits, beautiful details and candid photos to capture the magical day.

Thank you Apoorva & Ish for having me along to capture your special day. Deb x
