Kate & Peter’s intimate, urban Brisbane wedding has been featured on The Brissy Bride.
I was pretty damn excited about shooting Kate & Peter’s wedding for a few good reasons.
Firstly, because of their love story is one that tugs at the heart strings. Their love is one of those rare soul mate kind of love stories.
Kate had told me she is quite an anxious bride but the presence of fiance Peter is what calms her down.
Even on their engagement session, as the three of us drove up to Maleny, Kate had a few sips of champagne to calm herself. Not that she needed to worry, as they are adorable together! Check out their Maleny engagement photography session – click here
Kate & Peter decided to go against wedding tradition and forgo having a bridal party. Instead they chose to have a first look shoot at the New Inchcolm Hotel, a New York styled boutique hotel with a modern Art Deco feel in Brisbane city. Followed by bridal portraits in the hotel and Brisbane City Botanical Gardens.
Kate wore an exquisite gown by Karen Willis Holmes and the jaw dropping bouquet is by Northside Flower Markets.
We then moved to Mirra Events in Fortitude Valley where they exchanged vows in their indoor ceremony. Followed by a cocktail party with their family and friends to celebrate saying their I-do’s.
