1. Plan a picnic

Whether you’re heading to a park, the beach or even just your backyard, put down a blanket with a spread of yummy snacks, a bottle of wine, and you’ve got yourself a lovely, low-cost date. Yep we are even looking after your wedding budget here.

2. Go for a bush walk

Sometimes the most romantic activities can be the simplest of things. Being in the outdoors together and just going for a walk is relaxing and reenergising.

3. Do something unexpected – visit an art gallery or museum

Going to an art gallery, museum or seeing a show is a great date idea to expand your horizons.

4. Weekend Getaway 

Get away for the weekend. Simply pick a destination about an hour from where you live — it could be anything from a quaint BnB in the country or camping near the beach.

5. Road Trip

If you can’t get away for the weekend, even a day trip will get you out of home and a breath of fresh air.

6. Meet for drinks

Get dressed up and head out to the latest hot spot for drinks – try a new cocktail. Admire the view, while creating your own worthy moment.

7. Make homemade pizzas

For the cooks among you, a night at home making homemade pizzas with your favourite toppings.

8. Recreate your first date 

If you went to a movie, rent the same movie. If you went out for dinner, go back to the same restaurant.

Head out to your local Cold Rock for some ice-cream.

10. Have a game night

Get out your favourite board game – Monopoly, you name it – and have an old-fashioned game night date.

11. Watch the sunrise/sunset together

Not all great dates have to be at night. Get up early and watch the sunrise. If you aren’t a morning person, then you can watch the sunset together.

12. Binge watch a Netflix TV series together

Pick a series on Netflix that neither of you have seen, and watch it curled up on the lounge together. Make sure you have a fridge full of yummy treats and refreshments.
